NAVIGATIONAL AUDIT

Even when guidelines and procedures for safe navigation are well established within the bridge navigational team, a major navigational incident will pose serious risks for any ship owner. When practices for safe navigation are competently performed, navigational risks are significantly minimised.

Navigational audits are a requirement of Tanker Management and Self Assessment (TMSA) and has been adopted by other marine vessel types e.g. bulk carriers and offshore vessels.

Our auditors will identify vulnerabilities in the Navigational Process including those of the Bridge Team by employing a structured and comprehensive navigational auditing process. Existing Safety Management Systems maybe enhanced even further when shortcomings are identified within such an audit.
